Gemma Tremayne Jewellery is committed to a future where we respect our planet, and the animals and people that live here with us.
This philosophy is at the very heart of my life, and my brand.
As a small family-run business, and a huge supporter of small businesses in general,
I believe we should shop small, locally, handmade, and sustainably...Always.
You've probably already noticed the heavily natural vibes and inspiration behind
my jewellery, and that's because I design each piece with a natural cause in mind,
to help you feel grounded and connected to our beautiful planet.
I also believe in quality over quantity and strive to produce
work which lasts a lifetime and more! So there's no buying the same thing twice.
I absolutely don't believe that your jewellery should be destructive to the planet! Far from it!
It should be a celebration of the earth we live on:
inspirational, beautiful and extraordinary. So, I strive to use only 100% recycled metals in all
of my work, sourced from the most trusted suppliers in the UK.
What does that mean? Well, put simply, nobody has exploited our earth
and created new mines, in order to create your new piece of jewellery. Which I think is pretty amazing!
I also use only responsibly sourced and sustainably sourced gemstones.
The gemstone industry is a source of huge financial,
political and ethical conflict, and so I work with highly regarded suppliers to ensure that the gemstone in your piece is not a result of exploitation, but a labour of love.
But...I'm not stopping there!
My packaging is recyclable, recycled, sustainable and FSC certified...And it still looks amazing!
I hate the idea of landfill sites, and I feel a huge wave of guilt whenever I have to dispose of
something that I suspect will ultimately end up in landfill.
This is not a sustainable (or peaceful) way to live, so I have worked hard to find packaging that is natural, recyclable and as kind to our planet as it can be.
Each piece of my jewellery comes in a gorgeous recyclable box which is FSC certified and made from recycled materials.
But, what if all that isn't enough? What if we could still try harder to help our beautiful planet?
